| PrimaLuna es una pequeña compañía holandesa que se ha especializado en el diseño y fabricación de electrónicas de audio de insuperable relación calidad/precio basadas en la tradicional y siempre sorprendente tecnología de las válvulas de vacío. Y lo ha hecho con la elegancia de quienes al conocimiento de las ventajas de la economía de escala permitida por la globalización –diseño en Holanda fabricación en Extremo Oriente- unen una originalidad conceptual que les ha permitido sobresalir entre sus numerosos competidores. Con una presencia austera e hiperclásica, en línea con lo que demandan los todavía muy numerosos –y en algunos países en ascenso- amantes de la reproducción sonora a la manera tradicional, estereofónica, los productos PrimaLuna han sabido llegar al corazón de los más exigentes gracias a una esmerada combinación de topologías circuitales muy refinadas, incluso únicas (en contraposición con la habitual repetición de esquemas desarrollados hace más de medio siglo que practican muchos fabricantes) tanto en lo que concierne a la polarización de los dispositivos utilizados (todos ellos seleccionados individualmente por sus cualidades sonoras y su fiabilidad) como a los transformadores de alimentación y salida, lo que les permite ofrecer una capacidad dinámica, una transparencia, una flexibilidad de adaptación a cajas acústicas y una curva de respuesta en frecuencia inusuales en los diseños de su clase. Gracias a ello, los amplificadores integrados (como por ejemplo el extraordinario ProLogue Two), preamplificadores (el ProLogue Three, con 4 entradas de línea) y etapas de potencia estereofónicas (la ProLogue Tour, equipada con válvulas EL34 o la ProLogue Five, que utiliza KT88) y monofónicas (modelos ProLogue Six y Seven) de PrimaLuna han conseguido un aura de excelencia que los ha convertido en objetos de deseo para esos melómanos entusiastas del buen sonido que buscan lo mejor por el mejor precio posible.
